General Security Awareness Concerning Known Supplier of Airport Supplies (KSAS) – (ref EU 11.2.7) – (E-learning)

Target Audience

Persons having access to airport supplies (e.g. cleaning staff, driver who is not responsible for maintaining integrity, …).

Objectives

The training aims at achieving a general security awareness for known suppliers of airport supplies in accordance with (EU) 2015/1998 legislation point 11.2.4 and training Q8 from the Belgium Aviation Security Training Program (2018).

Course content

• knowledge of previous acts of unlawful interference and terrorist attacks against civil aviation and of current threats;
• knowledge of the relevant legal requirements;
• knowledge of the objectives and organisation of aviation security in their working environment, including the duties and responsibilities of persons implementing security controls;
• knowledge of reporting procedures;
• the ability to respond appropriately to security-related incidents

Any person undergoing general security awareness training shall demonstrate an understanding of all the points listed in this section before taking up their duties.
