Aviato Academy recrute un instructeur indépendant Dangerous Goods

 

The holder of this position will be responsible for managing end-to-end compliance for the Dangerous Goods training department & deliver trainings as per compliance of the regulating organizations to the highest standards. The incumbent will be also responsible for liaising with local & other Civil Aviation Authority as well as IATA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high standards of Dangerous Goods training material which corresponds with the Dangerous Goods Training Manual, Dangerous Goods Manual and ensure the same is current and up to date on a real-time basis
  • Ensure effective and efficient delivery of Dangerous Goods trainings as per the set agenda and standards
  • Facilitate the progress of the trainees to ensure achievement of competencies according to Aviato Academy standards
  • Managing, monitoring, and upgrading the department/training manuals
  • Development and maintenance of documents ensuring compliance with the Dangerous Goods department
  • Ensure an auditing and recording system is maintained for all regulatory requirements and all operations conform to Aviato Academy requirements
  • Ensure documentation and all training records are regularly updated
  • Assess, monitor, coach, and provide trainees with individual feedback
  • Review of training feedback received and implement changes to delivery/ material in cooperation with Aviato Academy
  • Ensure the department is compliant with various International/ National organizations like ICAO, DGLV (BCAA), IATA, or as applicable
  • Maintain current knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures for the safe operations of aircraft and ensure that they conform to regulatory requirements
  • Liaison with DGLV (BCAA) or other Civil Aviation Authorities, when required

  • Fluent in Dutch/French and English

Work Experience

  • Overall, of ten years’ experience in cargo operations including acceptance and handling of Dangerous Goods, preferred in handling the cargo operations of the cargo aircraft only as well as passenger and cargo aircraft
  • Minimum of five years’ experience as an instructor

Qualification

  • Successful completion of the “Train the trainer IATA” course or any other reputable train the trainer course or willing to follow such training at Aviato Academy
  • Successful completion of the Dangerous Goods training in DGR REF 7.1 & 7.3 (former CAT 6) and same must be valid for at least twelve months from the date of interview
