During 2022, IATA Dangerous Goods training evolved from a traditional based learning model to a competency-based training and assessment (CBTA) model as agreed by ICAO.
As of 1 January 2023, all Dangerous Goods training will need to be IATA CBTA compliant. As such, IATA Dangerous Goods courses will no longer be shown as categories but as functions, as defined in the IATA Dangerous Goods Training Guidance.
What will change as of 1 January?
The content of the Dangerous Goods courses has been reviewed and adapted according to the new IATA instructions.
