Objectives

All aerodromes must manage work in progress at some point, whether because of new developments or maintenance. It is therefore vital that staff involved can manage the construction in a safe manner, enabling aircraft operation to continue, whilst at the same time allowing the works to carry on.

This ACI course provides detailed information on how to plan airside works, ensuring the necessary documentation is produced in accordance with the Airport’s Safety Management System, how the works are controlled on a day-to-day basis and how to bring new developments into operational status.
