Target Audience
Forklift drivers with experience and valid licence who need a refresh for their certification.
Objectives
Learn how to handle a forklift safely.
Prevent the risk of accidents at work to people and infrastructure and devices and improve safety.
Increase the life span of forklifts and reduce maintenance costs.
Hands-on, safety-oriented training with a personal focus on each participant.

Theory
- The tasks and responsibilities of the forklift driver.
- Forklift components and movements (description and characteristics).
- Start of shift.
- General operating guidelines.
- Procedure for stopping the device.
- Control instructions.
- Fire instructions.
Practice
- Handling and steering devices: steering, traveling, combined movement.
- Assessment of heights and approach exercises.
- Workcentering.
- No-load driving, control of balancing.
- Accurate removal and positioning.
- Moving loads with combined movements.
