Objectives
Animals are fully-fledged family members. Wherever passengers go, they often go with them, and that includes when they take the plane for a holiday or a family visit.
Just like passengers, (domestic) animals have to be treated in certain ways and have to comply with certain formalities when travelling.
This AVI Awareness elearning gives you the basics you need to consider to comply with airline regulations and animal welfare standards.
In this elearning, participants will be trained on:
- How to handle cargo transport of (domestic) animals so that they can be transported safely.
- How to watch over the animal wellbeing
- How to ensure the handling and safe shipment of animals
- Be part of the dedicated staff who care for the animals before, during and after the journey.
