The course introduces you to the various basic rules surrounding importing and exporting goods between the EU and third countries. We also, of course, look at the specifications of trade in various excise goods.

Customs legislation distinguishes between trade in EU and national goods. Both are covered by European directives, but to avoid mistakes, you need to be very familiar with the differences between the two. We go into depth on the new customs codes and the extensive digitalisation of the sector in recent years.
