Objectives
The aim of this training is to acquire the knowledge necessary to safely perform work at height.
Discussion of regulatory aspects, technical notions, risks and protective equipment applicable to this type of work.
Course content
THEORY
- The powers of different persons.
- Risks associated with working at height and the hierarchy of preventive measures.
- Regulations on assembly and use of scaffolding.
- Use of personal protective equipment and anti-fall protection devices.
- The use of ladders.
- Definition of ‘Permissible Load’.
- Scaffolding and material selection.
- Use and assembly of rolling racks.
- Use of fixed scaffolding.
- Checking of scaffolding before use.
- Influence of weather conditions.
